We had a great Easter Sunday. The boys woke up excited to see what the Easter bunny left them, then we went to church and came home and had a great family dinner with the works. I think the boys had a great day and it was fun to hang out with the family.

Glow in the dark egg hunt
So to end our fabulous family party we had a glow in the dark egg hunt. The kids ran around the back yard with flashlights looking for glow in the dark eggs. The boys had so much fun running around in the dark. Definitely a keeper for next year!!

Family Easter Party
This afternoon we had a family Easter party. We dyed Easter eggs and decorated cookies. Amie contributed by eating once again! (I really believe that this is her favorite past time)

Feeding The Birds
Today we went to Sunset park to feed to the birds. The kids had a blast, and Amie well just ate as always.
This is the bird island that Garrett wanted to swim to so he could feed more birds.

The Worst Zoo in America
It is the start of Spring break and I decided to take my kids to the zoo today. I figured how bad can it be. We went to the zoo in Tuscon and it is known as a small zoo, so this can't be much worse. I knew it wasn't the San Diego Zoo, however this was pathetic. First off it is was on Rancho and Bonanza, and the entrance is a sight to see. Anyhow, the kids had fun chasing the birds and feeding them, the highlight. Matthew kept saying I want to see the animals, where are the kola bears, where are the elephants. I kept trying to tell him they don't have them at this zoo. I don't think he got it. Here are a few pictures of our pathetic experience.
The entrance to the zoo, notice the graffiti.
Amie in the center of the Zoo, notice all the chain linked fence!
The highlight of the experience, feeding the birds.

Saturday Adventures
Here is a little of our adventures for the day. I discovered through a friend that I can pull a small portion of Amie's hair up and put a bow in it. It is so cute. Here is a picture of here cute little hair. Garrett also had his first day of baseball practice today, and loved it (of course mom forgot the camera so no pictures yet). However when we got home Matthew was mouthing off a bit and had to sit in time out. When I went down to get him this is what I found. Yes he was sound asleep. Who knew you could fall asleep against the wall. Poor guy he must have been so tired.
