Kim's Visit

My sister Kim came to visit for a few days from Florida.  It has been awhile since I have seen her, and it was so great to see her again.  She is so much fun and always bring so much laughter and excitement with her.  Her little "Mufasa" came with her also.  The dog survived the kids, barely, but the kids loved having a dog around again.

Thanks for the visit Kim.  Come again soon!!!!

Utah

We took a short trip to Utah and had a great time being together and hanging as a family.  The kids loved staying in the hotel, seeing and hearing stories of  "when we used to live here....", staying up till midnight almost every night, and seeing all that Utah has to offer.  At one point Matthew turned to us and said "can we move here and be with the birds, trees, grass, and butterflies".  It almost broke our hearts knowing we were going to 109 degree heat and no trees.

After hanging on BYU for a little bit we took the kids bowling down in the basement of the Wilkenson center.  They thought it was the best thing ever.

This picture is on the side of the conference center roof.  Carved in the wall is the scripture "And this gospel shall be preached unto every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people."  As you look into the picture you can see your reflection standing behind the people signifying that the gospel will be preached to all of us.

This is a picture of Bridal Vail Falls.  The kids had a blast here running around and hiking to the top of the falls.  It was so pretty, so many trees.

We had a lot of fun being together as a family for a few days.  Utah was good to us and it was fun to go back and relish in "the days"

Track Break Adventures

As track break has come to a close we decided to do a last few adventures.  The kids love Chuck E Cheese's more then words can explain.  We use Chuck E's as a bribe for a lot of things.  Amie said as we were leaving that "this was the most awesome time ever."

We also took the kids to the circus.  We went last year and went again this year.  This year was by far better.  The acts were more entertaining and never a dull moment.  The best part of the circus was that the kids are scared of the clown (yes even Garrett).  All three of them refused to stand by them and take a picture, so Brett and I took the picture with the clowns.

The kids had a great track break and are not looking forward to going back to school.  They only have a few more weeks, and are looking forward to going to nine month next year so they can have all summer to play.

Cali

We recently went to California with Brett on a little business. We had a great time, and always love seeing family.

We went to the Mormon Battalion Center in Old Town. It was so much fun, the church has out done themselves again.

We also went to the San Diego Zoo. The kids loved it. Amie and Matthew said it was the best place ever, and want to go back every day. The weather was perfect, and so many cool exhibits.

We stopped by the Oceanside pier and walked to the end. The beach is awesome, there was a playground right up against the water. Soooooooo many people, but so gorgeous.

The trip was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. The kids were constantly going and having fun. We found a rope swing and watched Garrett let go mid swing and lay out on the dirt (he is somehow amazingly ok), went to the pool, and loved hanging out relaxing.
