St. George, Utah

Brett had a day off today so we decided to head out of Vegas for the day. We decided to head to St. George and see the trees and the mountains. It was so nice up there and we realized how much we miss the trees, falling leaves, mountains, and seasons. We spent the day touring the historic district, seeing Brigham Youngs winter home. The boys enjoyed seeing the sites, running around at the park and just being together.

This is an orginal building from the 1800's. It's full of old fashioned candy, pop, and supposidly the best soup and bread bowls around. We all enjoyed candy buttons, McCraws taffy, and other candies you don't see very often. The missionaries were telling me it's a frequent stop for many of the apostles when they visit St. George. The boys insisted on covering their eyes for the picute, but they had fun.
